Character Information

Summary

Minx came from a rather simple family, there weren't a whole lot of things she wanted for other than her parent's happiness. Things turned out just fine, although they had something of a strict regiment they wished her to undergo for schooling, to be as successful as them. Unfortunately, this came at the cost of much of her happiness, in pursuit of what might make her happy she pulled away from the forced schooling and decided to find her own path. This lead her into a world of sin and vices, with little to no skills in anything that might contribute to society the woman instead decided to turn to throwing her own worth into the world of crime. Minx now works primarily as a face that happens to know quite a bit of magic of the manipulative variety.

Goals

Minx wants to get to a place of comfort, to be able to stand on her own two feet and raise both middle fingers to the world. She wants a nice place, some good chow, maybe a cute guy, gal, or whatever in between, and to maybe cease the pains of the past from lingering onward.

Background

Minx grew up in Downtown Seattle to a loving family, her father's name being Daichi Tenaka and her mother Kiko Tetsuya. Daichi worked primarily as a Neurosurgeon, always gone for most hours of the day while her mother Kiko worked as a nurse within the same hospital. Most if not all of their expectations were upon her to go into a field of medicine, while initially Minx seemed to be alright with this path as time went on the idea began to fill her heart with dread. There was no passion in these words she was reading on these text books, the idea of cutting someone open to fix whatever problem they had made her almost sick thinking about looking at all of those organs. The schooling that came with it was fierce and seemed to tax every last fiber of her being, frustrated she decided to leave home at the age of twenty to pursue something else, without telling her parents of course.

This came with a plethora of its own problems, she didn't have the funds nor the skills to sustain herself and nearly went immediately homeless but seemed to be picked up but a well meaning man by the name of Toldaer Sinister. He'd begin to introduce her to the world of Sin and how it might be profitable for her to sell something other than just looking pretty. Accepting, she began to work primarily for Toldaer as a prostitute and at any other venue she could manage to fit herself into. The issue was this wasn't paying enough, her name wasn't as large as she wanted it to be; so she decided to put herself out into the world. She got a call from a man named 'Matsumoto' who seemed to be quite intrigued with her proposition, they'd meet and speak time and time again. It became a routine to meet with Matsumoto, they had sex every so often but most of the time it was just talking, he found her feline nature quite amusing and had biosculpting done for her at some point to give her cat-ears and a tail.

Eventually there was a time where the meetup went differently, he took her to his rather opulent home which seemed far beyond her own imaginations of ever owning. He sought her hand in marriage, while she was flattered she refused due to not quite seeing the progression of the relationship as for her it was strictly business. This sent Matsumoto into a rage, one where she scarcely remembers only between bits of memories, lapses where she is serving without question, others where her memory is but a fog, one day she was in the bathroom and staring at herself in the mirror. Her hair was a lot shorter than it was before, she didn't recognize the beautiful black cocktail dress she was wearing, what happened? Panic began to rise in her heart, that's when she heard something familiar yet unfamiliar, a bell. Jingling time and time again she felt her conscious mind beginning to fade but in an act of defiance her body suddenly shifted into that of a cat as she leapt out the window and into the night. The cat ran as fast as it could, until eventually she reached Toldaer's abode, as soon as her feline form faded she was naked once again, to which Toldaer explained she had been missing for an entire year.

No memories of this moment came back to her, so he got her clothed and explained that she'd have to rebuild her clientele or find another means of funding herself. Shadowrunning.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Positive

• Astral Chameleon

Despite her being relatively new awakening, she seems to have quite the handle on masking her presence. Although it seems to come without any real knowledge from herself, it's more so her body's means of attempting to defend itself so to speak. Cats have nine lives.

• Good Looking and Knows It

Minx does painstaking work to make sure she looks as gorgeous as she possibly can with each and every one of her meets. Her hair is never off-point, clothing always clean and immaculate; while there isn't much she values in this world her appearance seems to be one of the only things left.

• Cool as a Cucumber

Despite most harrowing situations, Minx seems to keep a good head on her shoulders and doesn't get quite upset. Always willing to talk and calm runners down and get their heads back in the game.

Negative

• Bells

The sound of bells of any kind seem to trigger the woman in a way, it will incite something of a panic in her and she will immediately begin to look around for its source.

• Picky

Minx doesn't like eating shitty food, which is probably where most of her money goes when she gets it.

• Prone to Gossip

She likes to talk shit, it's kind of the M.O. for a Shadowrunner.

• Matsumoto

A man who seems bent on making Minx his personal woman, regardless if she wants it or not. He is a Japanese man with red shades and always seeming to wear the most expensive clothing he can get his hands on. The man has connections, which makes him somewhat of a terrifying adversary; not to mention she still doesn't quite know what went on for that full year of her being missing.

• Imei Spiritarrow - Seems to be something of a store clerk that works under the table for extra money, a woman down on her luck and more than likely not worth your search warrant.

• Has sleek silver fingers that go to the knuckles.
