Background

Born SINless in the barrens to a poorly funded orphanage. In her childhood, Cynthia was bullied by the children at her orphanage because she insisted that the spirits hiding on the astral which she talked to and played with were real. Beast spirits of all kinds had an inclination towards her, and so she spent her days surrounded by them. She'd stray away from the orphanage and spend longer and longer wandering with them. One day, she found herself drawn to the bat spirits who shared a kindred spirit. Flighty and loathing staying in one place, she began wandering with them across Seattle. They helped her find food and shelter and she listened to them as they taught her respect for spirits of all kind. They smuggled her across district barriers throughout the low rank security zones. Dreaming of better things, Cynthia eventually scraped together enough Nuyen to buy a fake SIN and make her debut as a shadowrunner.

Common Sense - Handler has always had good instincts that keep her out of trouble.
