-Raised in Renton by working class parents who died in a car crash when Mace was in his early teens.  After some hardships that pushed Mace to Redmond, he found that he could get by using his roguish charm.  Teaching himself to be a good shot was helpful too.  Mace eventually found work at VisionQuest Entertainment as a deniable freelance info broker and problem solver, with a handler in a "special projects" department.  Once Mace's shadowrunning started paying more, he stopped returning VisionQuest's calls.  Being that Mace was a street level contractor, VisionQuest didn't expend much effort when he went dark. They just marked his file "Do Not Rehire".
-Mace had a long'ish relationship with a corpo woman named Sara.  She introduced him to the downtown scene and  taught him japanese, while he showed her the fun spots in Touristville.  Sara eventually ended the relationship after becoming increasingly frustrated with Mace's lack of commitment.
-Likes to hang out at The Blind Cat, a small blues bar (classic and synth-blues) favored by locals in Touristville.  Casually knows Henry, the Ork bartender.
