Summary

A religious zealot taking faith in the Resonant gods and a sly decker aiming to reveal corporate corruption and sabotage anyone who gets in the way. A Pixie trapped in a constant struggle between protecting those they stand for or striking against those they stand against.

Background

Born in Brocéliande Forest, Ziggy was smuggled into Seattle with their parents and issued a potent false ID to cover their immigration status. Ziggy's parents had hoped to find opportunity in a new land away from the tribal life styles of their race. The family lived a poor and rough life but a happy one none the less with Ziggy's father running a small unlicensed backdoor clinic despite their race's usual proclivity towards being uneducated. During this time, Ziggy's parents encouraged the child to explore their interests and learn, spending their spare time teaching young Ziggy basic mathematics and how to read. One day everything changed however when an injured human stumbled through and collapsed in the family's doorway. Unknown to them this man was a recent escapee from a MCT black-site and a technomancer. Ziggy's father treated the man's wounds and they took him into their home. When the man awoke, he told said little other than thanking the good doctor and offering some credits as payment before turning to leave despite his remaining injuries and the protests of Ziggy's father. Almost on queue masked men in suits burst through the door yelling and pointing guns. Everything happened fast. All Ziggy remembers is screams, gun fire, pain, and blood. Lots of blood. When the young fairy came to, they found themselves in the arms of the man their father had taken care of. He limped and stumbled through an alley way before collapsing against the wall. The last moments of his life was spent telling Ziggy what had happened, that their parents were dead, and where they could find help. Fast forward a few years, Ziggy spent this time and what remained in their family's bank accounts learning everything they could about their enemies and how to take them down. It was hard, but they learned the art of cyber warfare and focused their study in the direction of corporate sabotage with the help of their contacts to provide them with the goods they needed. Under their false guise, they assumed a mask and a new identity,labeling themselves a vigilante and discovering the Shadowhaven, a location full of people equally pissed off towards the company they so hated. During this time they found leads to the Crimson Children and KillSec where they learned of more about Technomancers, Resonance, and the Paragons. With the power of faith and revenge, they aim to use their new found skills to take down the enemies of emergent kind and avenge their parents who only wanted to help people. Outside of these pursuits, the pixie has a budding love for music, photography and coffee.

Ziggy leaves a calling card in places that they have raided when it's time to leave a message. This comes as a Cat's Eye 16-bit decal with "Ecce venient tibi peccata tua." in large bold purple text framing the bottom of the eye.

Appearance

Clothing

Standing at roughly 1.5 feet tall, the cloaked and masked pixie puts off a strikingly mysterious silhouette. Wearing a gray custom cloak most of their body is hidden beneath a full body leather outfit padded out with an armored jacket. Their silhouette suggests neither male or female and their lack of voice gives off no clues in this regard either. Their blank white mask only has two opaque circles where the eyes would be while emotes, phrases, and images flash across the built in LED screen that encompasses the mask help them communicate in place of their lost ability to speak. Their wings bear resemblance to that of a dragonfly's, multiple purple and green opalescent tones shifting as light reflects off of them outside of concealment. No one living outside of the Brocéliande Forest has seen Ziggy outside of their clothes.

Matrix Persona

Ziggy takes the form of a silhouetted cat clad in a star field that shift with each movement the cat makes. Their movements are fluid as if the cat was made of liquid matter often shifting from time to time but always settling into the same floating feline. Attacks made by the persona take the form of black hole like rift that open before firing cosmic themed objects at the target when in pure attack mode.
