"This is Pierre Cote for TVQE at the Site Historique Maritime de la Pointe-au-Père. On this day in 1914 Quebec suffered its worst maritime disaster, the sinking of the Empress of Ireland not far from here. A somber ceremony was held this afternoon, hosted by the minister of internal affairs. Next on TVQE is a Concerned Citizen's report on the plague of motards on Quebec highways."
