Summary

Rafflesia, is an ex-Shigeda-gumi Yakuza who was ousted from the rest of the clan after the assassination of it's head. She spends her days now as a butler at La Chateau Gateau, loyal to the organization and their goals. However, she still holds a few grudges from her yakuza days.

Goals

Re-establish the Shigeda-gumi by taking revenge on the Kanaga-gumi, the branch who arose out of the Shigeda-gumi's demise and kicked out the women and non-humans, and show gratitude to La Chateau Gateau for taking her in.

Background

Chizuru Hayasaka was the daughter of Japanese and Korean immigrants to Seattle, her father being heavily involved in the Yakuza. Her father, having a child now, tried to move further and further away from any Yakuza activity and eventually abandoned the game after a large fight with his oyabun. As Chizuru grew up, she became more and more interested in her father's past business, culminating in a day when they came to kill him for abandoning the clan when she was 18. She instead offered herself, which the gangers agreed to. She became a heavily trusted member of the Shigeda-gumi in her life, though she never saw her parents again, until their head was assassinated and the Kanaga-gumi splintered off and left the women and non-humans. She never forgave them for this, and stewed in her hatred for years and years... but with nowhere to go, she had to focus on surviving, until she was taken in by La Chateau Gateau. In exchange for working as a butler there, she secured room and board and a life of relative comfort. While she is extremely grateful for this chance, she has never forgotten the betrayal by the members of the Kanaga-gumi, and seeks revenge on them to this day.

She spends her days as a butler at the Victoria Cafe, a high class cafe in Downtown Seattle. She is professional to a fault. Seeking revenge and to re-establish a more progressive branch of Yakuza, she has bode her time, her vengefulness stewing for many years. Victoria Cafe also sends her to do less legal jobs for high paying clients, shadowrunning for her own benefit as well as the cafe's.
