Summary

Panacea is a Decker who also specialises in healing, focusing into a support role.

Goals

Find her brother. Rehabilitate from heavy Psyche use. Be able to afford a good life for her brother so he may rest once (if) he is rescued.

Background

Panacea was born into a poor family. Her parents had a severe addiction to drugs, and despite not taking bad care of Panacea and her younger brother, one day it would get the best of them and lead them to selling them both in exchange for another fix.

They were smuggled and transferred around, being used as test subjects for experimental drugs, and in the case of Panacea, she was also taught how to use a Cyberdeck to use the Matrix and to steal money with promises of a freedom that would likely never come, only leaving her physically scarred and with a severe addiction to Psyche due to the heavy use of it anytime she was forced to do this. She also learned by herself how to ease the pain of the other test subjects, and how to keep them alive however she could, with what little she could; specially if it meant helping her little brother.

But one day during another one of the regular transfers, she saw an opportunity to escape, and as painful as it was she could not escape with her brother. But she promised that one day she would find him again, and rescue him from a crueler fate.

And so after getting back on her feet and seeking all information she could in the Matrix over several months, she finally tracked down her brother in the United Canadian and American States, where she would head and lead her to become a Runner, in hopes of one day either find someone who knew about her brother, or be hired to put a halt to the group that enslaved them both.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Ambidextrous, Perfect Time: Being a Decker and a medic both required her to develop a dexterity with both of her hands, and perfect precision.

Changeling (SURGE III), Frog Tongue, Gills (Full), Natural Venom (Spat, Serious): The passing of the Halley's Comet made her SURGE at an early age.

Negative

Cold-Blooded, Critter Spook, Mood Hair, Slow Healer: Of course, this extreme change in her physiology would not come without it's downsides.

Dry Addict (Severe)(Psyche), Impaired Attribute (Strength), Weak Immune System: The severe drug usage and the constant overworking caused her to develop an addiction, leaving her body weak and her immune system debilitated.

Panacea is a 28 year old Greek woman. She has pale skin and short, spiky brown hair, and her facial appearance is unknown to everyone except those closest to her, as she always keeps her mask on. She always carries with her a medkit as if it were a suitcase.

Clothing

She wears a chameleon suit, and over it a designer cloak. She always wear a gas mask.
