An old mercenary turned runner and cyber-survivalist. While age has taken a toll on his body, his will is cast from steel.

Background
Grant was recruited out of school as support staff for a medium-sized mercenary company. The job started him in the tail end of the Eurowars and took him across the conflict hotspots from Salish-Tsimshian to Vietnam. His superiors picked up on his strong outdoor skillset, and he quickly took to scouting and longarms. After a lifetime's worth of conflict, he's accumulated nearly a souls worth of 'ware which is keeping him going in old age. Throughout his later career he's been assigned to take down toxic mages several times, which led to his exposure to and involvement with eco-activist groups and environmental issues. This is when he met Chainsaw Caterpillar, who shared a similar outlook on body enhancement and the ideal future of metahumanity.
Became a true soldier without borders after Crash 2.0, though age as well as downsizing eventually got him retired. Despite his advanced age, he's settled in Seattle to continue honing his skills and supporting environmental causes (with wetwork).
