Character Information

Summary

An Ork with an interest in medicine, a talent for violence, a want to protect the many and a need to threaten the few.

Goals

To join DocWagon as a member of an HTR. For real this time.

Background

Patrick Kitchener grew up healthy, loved, and nurtured. He grew up in a household where his dreams and desires were supported as best they could. Except for his sudden goblinization during a sleepover on his 9th birthday - his new Ork features being gently accepted by his parents and most of his friends - his childhood is not worth mentioning. Patrick took an interest in medicine during his education, and quickly steered his studies towards being an EMT, setting his sights on eventual employment with DocWagon.

Years of expensive study in medicine, combat tactics, street knowledge, and firearms training, Patrick landed a spot on a DocWagon team as threat support personnel. The next six months were the happiest he could remember being. He probably should have questioned why, in that six months, he never once seemed to see an actual DocWagon station. Or why his crew would pick him up for his shift at his front door.

Or why Zen, the leader of the crew, would only begin treatment of the patients after being paid.

Patrick's career ended one moonless night when his crew met unusually strong resistance from a gang of very-well trained gunmen. A lull in the gunfight found Patrick huddled in cover, when he overheard radio chatter from the mercenaries. The words 'damned posers' and 'victim vultures' stood out immediately.

The ambulance in DocWagon livery he could now see from his new vantage point made his heart sank.

The rest of the night was a blur. He and his crew managed to get away without their payday. He told his crew that that was it for him. He'd had a change of heart. He wanted out. A look in Slip's eyes told Patrick that he was not as convincing as he could have been. His house was filled with lead by unidentified shooters later that night.

Patrick now lives the life of a broke college graduate. He can't tell his parents about his mistake, can't make them worry about him, not after all they had done for him. His skillset may come in handy elsewhere, however.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Bad Rep - Patrick is not famous with DocWagon or with his old crew. He probably should have worn a mask or something while operating.

Sinner (National): UCAS - He's a card carrying citizen of the UCAS, born and raised in what used to be the C part of the country.

Appearance

An averaged height stocky Ork with ashy green skin, he is totally bald and sports no obvious cyberware. His lower tusks jut straight out, a feature for which he has had a fair amount of teasing and bullying while growing up.

Clothing

Best described as cheap but functional. He won't win any fashion awards and he couldn't tell you the difference between a button down and an Oxford, but at least he's not naked.
