Character Information
Summary
Immigrant from Tir na nOg, Ciara left because she didn't like the thinly-veiled racism against non-elves. She accidentally joined a run and ended up liking it. The fact that the pay was significantly more than her current job didn't hurt.
Goals
Have fun and don't die. Attain at least a small measure of fame from her simrig stuff
Background
Ciara O'Cuilinn (O'Cullen to those who have trouble with Celtic names) was just a normal wageslave, doing normal wageslave things in middle management. One day, that all changed quite drastically. She was supposed to meet up with her boss and some associates for a business lunch at Paulo's Kitchen, possibly as a status symbol (having an adept at his side), a classy Italian place downtown. Unfortunately, her finger slipped and she accidentally input Paula's Kitchen, a dive in Touristville. She didn't remember what part of town, or the kind of cuisine, she was supposed to be in or eating, so she assumed the boss wanted to slum it. Her boss's name was Stanley Johnson, so she inquired about the Johnson party, the name the reservation was usually under. She was shown to a table with several rough-looking guys around it. She took her seat, expecting Stan to show up soon, from the restroom or something. She didn't recognize the others, and assumed they were just the associates.
Then the Johnson started talking about what he wanted, and Ciara knew she was in the wrong place. She also knew that letting these guys know was possibly a bad idea, considering the nature of the conversation. Besides, the job sounded fun. She decided to roll with things, see where she ended up. She sent a quick message to her boss that something came up and she wouldn't be able to make it, which made him angry, but she ignored his replies. The run was fairly straightforward and was done by nightfall. She was surprised by the payout, and the fun she had had, and decided that Shadowrunning might be more fun and profitable than middle management, and quit the next day.
