Background
Having come from money, Duke once ran a small financial firm that was quickly gaining investors. During his time in business, Coyote began to communicate with Duke through inserted words into financial reports. Shamanism was rather far from Duke's viewpoint, so his progress was slow. Due to some critical errors on Duke's part, he got burned by some runners he had hired and was reported to a Wuxing subsidiary the run had been against. They quickly took action against him, they bought out his business from under him and through some financial wizardry he ended owing them a massive amount of nuyen. In order to settle his debt, Duke had sell all of his other assets leaving him with only paltry amount to live on. The only upside was that Coyote began to pass along more shamanic knowledge that increased Duke's ability as a caster. In desperate need of cash-flow, Duke decided to place his social skills, and growing shamanic skills to the Shadow Community.
