Summary
YMF-021β Raven gets his comrade, ADF-444γ Morgan and Tohru Okkotsu to find and kill a one Taejin, who holds a sword Tohru is looking for. Tohru, being a fledgling mage, seeks the aid of others who know him, and those he specifically asked to come along with. And so, the team butt heads and get the job done, begrudgingly.
Background
Tohru Okkotsu is a fledgeling mage grappling with the free spirit haunting them, as well as their newfound awakened powers. As such, they required a way to test themselves and prove their loyalty to Raven. Raven suggested they assassinate a target that Raven's old master knew, one named Taejin, an old bladesmith. Tohru thought to do it, but was worried they wouldn't be able to handle it alone. Searching for contacts, they found the Haven and asked for folks resilient to different kinds of magic, including those with a background of mind magic. He deigned to push himself as much as he could, as well as get help fighting the one named Taejin, feared by Raven.
The Meet
The team was tasked with meeting Tohru instead of Morgen, at a bar known as the Slippery Serpent. The Sailor's bar near Tacoma was empty with plenty of room for private talks in a booth. Tohru explains the mission of going to kill someone by the name of Taejin, if being mysterious about it. The gang pushes back on the idea, but Tohru persuades them with money. Explaining they'll either need to drive up through the SSC or catch a boat in the evening, the team opts for the boat. And such, they drive to the docks to meet a one Cpt. Lem Springthunder and YMF-021β Raven on the bridge. The team is told more about the nature of the hit, and agree to relax and rest up while they make their way to Galiano Island.
The Plan
The team was informed that Taejin had a house on the north of the island. They would be ferried over via zodiac raft, landed on the beach, and then have three hours to fight and get the sword for Tohru and Rika.
