Summary

A death race is coming up. The runners are hired to get some dirt on a fellow driver and find out what's going on. Runners succeed brilliantly.

Background

LT. Payne is about to enter a race and he wants to have an edge one of the better drivers there. It turns out his hunch was correct and the Max Blanc had made a deal with a sentient nanite colony that has formed a coherent AI.

The Meet

The meet took places at TAEN. The Ass End of Nowhere. Meet goes off without a hitch and they get the deets. LT Payne is a good host and enjoys the runners companionship.

The Plan

The runners do some legwork, call a contact. They investigate astraly, then physically. Then they infiltrate physically.

The Run

They make contact with the AI inhabiting the dump truck and the decker dipped out immediately after getting the info from the AI after doing multiple rounds of legwork for the run and searches.

Aftermath

The aftermath is to be seen. The runners have been found by Felicius and she has made contact. The deathrace is still on, but now LT Payne has a rough idea of what is going on with his only real threat. The runners get paid and go off into the sunset with new rides and some nuyen.

Knock

Gone, with but a hush. I prefer to be loud when doing wetwork. Oh well.
