Character Information

Summary

An Adept Thief who's fallen under hard times. After a BTL burnout and a failed heist, his reputation isn't the greatest, but with Shadowhaven, he now has a chance to earn it back.

Goals

  • Wants to repair is reputation
  • Nuyen. Simple man, simple desires.

Background

"Psycho-Eyes isn't what you'd usually call yourself when you want to get hired for a run, but no one's judging."

After long last, his drek jobs would be a thing of the past. He had one shot to prove his worth as a thief to the underworld and... he blew it, but we're getting ahead of ourselves!

It all started 13 years back, when a young and certainly more pure Talesin Moria (Yes... our Psycho-Eyes has a name) decided he wanted to escape the drek pit his parents decided to abandon him in. He, as most people who don't know how to take care of themselves in an honest way, resorted to stealin' what them hard workin' wage slaves had. Oh, he did alrigh!... and he loved it. He was damn proud at how good he was, maybe too proud! Anyways, as he grew and survived off of the scraps of the upperworld, the lower part saw fit to get a word in with the boy. To our boy Talesin's surprise, he had just stolen from the Yakuza. Yeah, that Yakuza - the ones that chop you up and turn you into sushi for just lookin' at'em the wrong way, yeah, those ones. Turns out, they didn't want his organs for the black market, they wanted his skillz. A relationship was born, even though it was a dangerous one.

His life was turning around, you know.. in a criminal sorta way. He was hired to carry out heists on low tier targets that had blackmail or anything the Yakuza deemed not theirs anymore. After a half decade or so of theivin' around, Talesin had made a name for himself in the area. He was eccentric and a little wacky, but always made good on his word. He had also gotten himself into BTLs in a big way.

The Yakuza gave him a chance to prove himself and actually join the family as a member and not as a private contractor of sorts. He was given a target. A politician by the name of "James Faellon," a high tier gov official in his neck of the woods (Yeah, figure of speech). Talesin was good, but what he didn't expect was a full throttle withdrawal during the job.

With the job and his reputation in shambles, he decided to attempt to end it all, which has gotten significantly easier to do in this sixth world. He scorched his noggin to the astral plane and back. Instead of dying, he woke up, alive and not suicidally depressed. He gave the thieving career a good ole' college try. He needed new work.

After a year of so of freelancing and solo running, he was contacted by Shadowhaven and that's pretty much everything. Stop breathing down my damn neck you creepy chummer!

Narrative Significant Qualities

  • Scorched (BTL's)

"Ouch! My goddamn head keeps nuking itself over and over and over again! You're lucky that you're in my skull or I'd kill you SO hard right now!!!"

  • Bad Rep

"Well, if you really want to know, my addiction to BTL's, which I got rid of I might add, is the big reason why my last job crashed. One minute I was grabbing valuables and the next I was withdrawing. Ruined everything, I tell you! Now I've got to start from scratch with a drek of a rep..."

  • Severe Addiction (BTL's)

"Remember when I said I kicked my BTL addiction? I did, but my friend over there said he could use a fix and he looks like drek right now.... Got any spare Nuyen?"

Appearance

Before you stands a slightly taller than average man whose posture and general vibes are that of a mentally unhinged individual.

What most people first notice is his freaky custom ballistic mask. The mask looks complex and appears to be fully decked out with several upgrades. The eyes follow the owners with precision, closing along with blinks and widening with surprise. The eyes themselves have the appearance of a hypnotic gaze and spin psychotically. Under the eyes rests a frighting smile painted on haphazardly. A plume of purplish hair extends out of the upper part of the back of the mask in a pony tail fashion.

A maniacal apparition with twirling psychotic eyes and a twisted grin appears before you.
