Summary

For software developer Krisina Svechinskaya, life has played virtually like a video game, with a new character on every level. From parental divorcee to computer hacker, convicted criminal to MCT intelligence analyst to multimillionaire, slavewage to shadowrunner - the 21 year-old knows how to role-play.

At 18 she was already earning 5,500¥ a month as an IT consultant. She even managed to persuade her school to let her 'formalise the computer club' and run her business from there. With an 18-year-old boyfriend, pockets full of cash and friends aplenty she began skipping school and staying out late into the night. Then her parents issued her with an ultimatum: If she wanted to live under their roof she had to give it all up and focus on school. She dropped out of University of Washington, and abandoned her MCT sponser and family.

Alone and with nobody to reign her in, she turned her knack for computers into low-level hacking. But her solo activities soon caught the attentions of the online criminal underworld and she was swiftly recruited into a criminal hacking collective. Specializing in the use of Trojan horses, Svechinskaya attacked thousands of bank accounts, most within the United States, and then created a series of fake accounts through both Bank of America and Wachovia.

She and her accomplices began hacking the sites of big business and military, including the systems of major banks, General Electric and IBM. For this 18-year-old nothing was out of bounds. Currently she is living in the Barrens, accepting shadowrunner jobs. She's wanted by MCT for flagrantly using her Corporate SIN to place datataps in buildings.

Honest Face - Ko spent a whole lot of time looking in the mirror getting ready for Friday night poker, she sure don’t look like a liar, particularly when she is lying.
