Summary

A complete lack of any magical ability. No talent, no affinity, and no potential.

Rejected by her own kind, and discriminated against by all the others, Widdle has retreated into the one thing she is good with; technology.

As if to distance herself as far from her race's magical roots as possible, Widdle has fully embraced technology as her means of interacting with the world. Finding refuge inside machines, and flying through the Matrix.

As Widdle, she has fully embraced a life free from all restriction. Vix has determined that if she couldn't be what everyone wanted her to be, then she had no reason to hold herself back from being what she wanted herself to be. And so embraces mercenary work in order to fund a lifestyle that is free from all obligation to others. Where the only one she needs to listen to is herself. Rejecting all forms of authority and social pressure that want to dictate what kind of person a pixie girl is supposed to be.

Be the opposite of what everyone expects a Pixie to be.

Background

Vix Fairgreens is a young Pixie who was born with one of the worst defects. A complete lack of any magical affinity.

For faries, who's nature was inherently magical, she was an anomoly that her family and commune couldn't accept. It was beyond their ability to understand. She was life a tall dwarf, or an ugly elf.

When her 'defect' was discovered, she was immediately slated to be an outcast among her family. Her eagerness to please quickly turned to personal shame, and then eventually into resentment for the world around her.

In order to escape from their rejection, she chose to reject her heritage and what was 'right' for a pixie to be. If pixies were supposed to be magical, she would embrace technology. Becoming an immensely talented Decker and Rigger. Leaving her family and neighborhood in order to embrace the life of a proper, independent mercenary.

Still flying, all on her own.
