Hello! This is Crimson and I probably will be your GM for the day!

I´ve been GMing different systems for a while now but I consider myself pretty green when it comes to shadowrun, so please be patient in the event of rule checking or something similar.

My personal objective when running a game is to tell a story and for my players to have fun, this is my golden rule.

How do I run things?

I try to make my runs immersive, with descriptions to make places and characters come alive, so you will probably hear "You see a a two story building old, decrepit and covered from top to bottom in grafitti (like the rest of the street), some parts have been boarded up with woodden planks or metal pieces" instead of "its an old building".

Rule of cool and RAW. I am pretty flexible when it comes to rules, if you explain your thought process to me and your action makes sense I will tend to allow it.

For example: Lets say that you are in a social event and I ask you for an ettiquete test, but you make a case that your character is trying to bullshit it all the way, just lying and pretending to be a part of the conversation, I may change it to a Con test even if it shouldn´t by RAW, this is all dependent on the situation and context, so a higher roll may be required (or not), you also may get some weird looks after it.

Rule of cool: I want to see you guys come up with crazy things, to think outside the box and find different solutions, or pull off some incredible stunts, rule of cool is here for that but its something that is saved for special moments, if I applied it all the time, it would just lose its meaning.

Declining the run and derayling

I will be pretty explicit with the contents of the run in its description, if its going to be a crazy action oriented run, to espionage, to wetwork. If you feel that your character would not be fit for it (such as a moraly good character trying a wetwork mission to kill an innocent that happened to be at the wrong place and wrong time), then I ask you not to apply.

While I encourage out of the box thinking, shooting the J in the face, killing the hostages or selling the paydata to someone else **WILL** have serious implications.

Themes

The shadowrun universe is a bad place, a really bad place... and sometimes you may be hired to do some pretty unsavory things, I will post warnings in the mission description if it happens to be the case, but I ask all who apply to read, understand and be ready to treat it with maturity.

THIS IS MY DISCLAIMER: IF I POST WARNINGS THAT THINGS MAY GET BAD AND YOU APPLY, THEN IT WILL BE ASSUMED THAT YOU ARE OK WITH THE SUBJECT MATTER.

Failiure and Consequences

Normally during my runs the consequences are not that severe in case of a failed run, but expect your rewards to be lowered accordingly.
