Summary

Burnout Street Sam/Mage.

Taki is a bit of a loner. She isn't overly suspicious of others but has never had too many friends outside of CATCo.

Her view on infected and magic are of tolerance. HMHVV creates monsters, but they weren't always monsters before. She has more sympathy for Strain II and III due to how most never chose to become infected, it just happens. Strain I are, to her, people who walk a razor's edge. On one hand, they are monsters that can fight other monsters. On the other, They often prey on the weak and innocent.

She is not as strict as traditional Christians. She seeks to live a good life, and be a good person. But she knows that her chosen life leads down a dark path. She tries to stay in the light, but must sometimes walk into darkness for the mission.

Takako is a CATCo Corporate SINner from Quebec. She serves as a member of the CATCo Seraphim. The Seraphim are world renown as some of the very best operators in the world, and she certainly lives up to the name.

She was born to parents in middle management. The life seemed boring to Taki, so she trained and trained in her teen years to try and secure a spot in the security division. Taki always had health problems. Her parents invested much into the cyber and bioware she now carries. Along with saving her life, they helped her excel. She uses her fully augmented physique effectively as a member of the Seraphim.

She served with distinction until last year when an operation far to the North changed her forever. Her unit was tasked with investigating an S-K site. The site had gone offline, and S-K seemed to abandon it. An investigation and exploration found the site overrun with malicious spirits. In the action that followed, Taki was seriously wounded and the whole unit was exposed to the full force of the Aurora Borealis. Fortunately it didn't affect many. There were 2 SURGEs and 2 awakenings, one of which was Taki. Her extensive injuries were repaired by CATCo, and her magical instruction would soon begin.

For her selfless and heroic action she was awarded the Ordre National de la Légion D'Honneur, of the Chevalier class. This is a point of pride for her.

For now she is taking some time off after her accident. She searches for people who can teach her about her new magical abilities. She's in Seattle right now, taking odd Shadowrunner jobs while she expands her magical talents.
