Summary
Elven black mage, running the shadows to get over the death of her father.
Goals
To get herself in a healthy mental state. Narratively this will probably mean the suboptimal choice of a paradigm shift to chaos or possibly a more religious tradition, when she gets over her feelings of helplessness and need for attention.
Background
Your typical upper middle class kid, parents are blessed with an elf they give all their love, affection and money towards. She grows up pretty, she grows up rich, she grows up with plenty of attention. Even more when she awakens, given special treatment in school, special schooling.
While most in her position would awaken into a hermetic tradition, leaving a girl all alone in college gets her to try new things. Between magical traditions 101 and ease of access to drugs, academic, recreational and ones that make you learn about yourself. But it wasn't until her father was deceased that she truly found a tradition, awakening into black magic to rebel against a man who wasn't there anymore, awakening to bury her sorrows in power and mystique.
She graduated (barely) powering through a degree in thaumaturgy with drugs, demonic iconography and rock and roll. She could've used her father or family friends to get a job in something to do with magic, but she delved deeper into her clubbing friends, finding her way into the shadows.

She strives to emulate a classical witch, bubble, bubble, toil and trouble, brewing concoctions and enchanting trinkets, consorting with devils of all sorts.
