Excitement is spreading through the UCAS camp as the N-51 PMC receives surprise reinforcements from an unlikely source! Reports say that the living heir of the French Empire, Édouard Napoléon Bonaparte, has appeared in the flesh to support the PMC, citing their former status as exiled French forces.

A feed follows - fighting vehicles roll into the UCAS camp as the PMC soldiers cheer for a man wearing a suit - and while the clothing doesn’t match the French uniforms of old, the enthusiasm among the soldiery makes it unmistakable that the new Napoléon has as much charisma as his ancestor. Ignoring protests of the French team with only slight shifts to the imagery of the nation to distinguish his own small force, Bonaparte made a speech to the mercenaries - and to the world.

“It is an honor to be here today with the living heart of French history - its soldiers. You’ve been left to die so many times, enduring all sacrifices and indignities for the sake of our nation. And today, you stand as outcast and exiled as I - as outcast and exiled as my ancestor. It is shameful that our nation has once again fallen victim to the predations of an illegitimate government - one that fails to protect against the corrupt, one that cannot protect its people from the gangs, the syndicates and the corporations which wish to use it to their own ends. You were the hands of our nation, and you were cut from it.

“Today, I offer you all the aid I can muster, for we cannot have a strong, united nation without a strong, unified army - one which does not cast away its greatest asset: its veterans. Today, you will have your chance to prove your worth to the world on that most ancient of stages - the battlefield. Show them who is the true beating heart of France! Show those who have cast us out that they will need to perform more than petty political schemes to get rid of us!”
