Character Information
Summary
An honest street samurai and proud father, Tusked Gillette works for his daughter's future. He might be a loving father, but do not mistake that as him being soft, because he's got buckshot and a snapshot aim that would shut down that notion.
Goals
Get a permanent luxury lifestyle for him and his daughter Jamie to live in.
Background
2061, new life entered into the Tacoma aroma, one son of many - as is tradition for orks. Kurt Flash was brought up by two metalworkers, Mark and Jamie Flash, in a rather standard orkish fashion: made to respect momma' Jamie, fought with his brothers, and so on. However, he also occasionally snuck out to play with other kids in the area, a luxury afforded by Dupont's AA security status. And, one of those times, he met a troll girl - Evelyn Steiner. The two young goblinoids were rather quick to hit it off, and they were rather close. By the time he reached 18, it was straight to the Federated Boeing Metalworks, wherein he came into the discovery that Evelyn also worked there. And, for the next two years, things sailed by. Before he was even 19, Kurt and Evelyn had a baby girl - Jamie, named after his mother - and it was his pride and joy. However, when he turned 20, things took a turn for the worst - a turn for the shadows.
One day, heading home from work together, they caught wind of something going down. Spikes were dealing on the street, some bearded troll was buying. Normally, they'd just turn their head and walk, but Evelyn had noticed something - that was her brother buying! Walking over despite the warnings from Kurt, she couldn't even get to him before she hit the floor - jumpy kid blew her brains out the moment he suspected she wasn't a customer. Kurt flew into a fury, grabbing a rock off the side of the road and beaning the ganger before he could take another as he ran up to his prone body, knocked the gun out of his hand, and pummelled him - blow after blow, tear after tear - until all that was left was a bloody mess in the mockery of a face. It was a blinding fury, which turned into sobbing regret as he held his girlfriend's lifeless body. However, he was not the only person on the street. The Tortuga Taco Truck was nearby, closed up due to the dealing, but Carlos had watched the display, and he knew he had an opportunity.
Approaching the defeated ork, Carlos had an offer - he could get the Spikes off his tail and make a lot of nooj if he put that talent to use for some jobs that needed muscle. At first, the suggestion of the shadows insulted him - he had a little girl! - but he started to think about it. He had a little girl. And if he wanted her to go to college and have the best life she can, some extra cash could be in order. So, he agreed, getting a small payment upfront to get himself a gun and some armour, and got to work on the streets. While it was milk stuff starting out, he did meet someone during his time before the Haven who, in just one run, changed him from just some razor boy with a shotgun to a true street samurai. He never got a name, not even an alias, but he got a blade and knew what he had to do.
Over the years, he'd train both the blade and gun, alongside steeling himself to meet his bushido code with his every act, and, eventually, this street samurai pleased the Johnsons enough for Carlos to inform him he was in - he got in the big show. Now, if he would make a life his little girl could be proud of, or end up dead as just another pretentious ork with a sword, only time can tell.
Narrative Significant Qualities
Positive
Negative
Code of Honour (Street Samurai's Code) - The mysterious and enigmatic runner he never got the name of, while still not even Haven material, forever changed his view of his work. He had to live honourably, and his every action needed to show rectitude and nobility, even if he may just be another shadowrunner. He's not just some gillette - he's a true Street Samurai.
The Code - "I must be a warrior whose rectitude is unmatched, striving to always be just and noble with my every action. I must never back down or run away, for I am the bulwark for my fellow runners as long as they too are just, and thus I must be courageous. I must be merciful to my foes, granting them benevolence in any way I can, even if it may end in death. I must be polite in all matters, not tainting myself with broken courtesy. I must be honourable and loyal, keeping my word when I give it, and never stabbing anyone in their back. And finally, I must maintain complete control over myself, staying to the highest moral character, lest I be the monster people believe me to be. I am a Street Samurai, and this is my way."
Dependent (Inconvenience, his 6 year old daughter Jamie) - The love of his life, his little girl is who he does this all for. If she's happy, he's happy, and he would give the entire world to ensure she is safe.
No Man Left Behind - As part of his code, loyalty is a most glorious virtue: if he ran away as a coward when his fellow runners were in danger, he would be a disgrace, another cyberpsycho with a sword. Such a fate may be fine for others, but not for the street samurai - the bulwark for his fellow runners, the steel guide for his allies and the gun-toting psychopomp for those who dare threaten his team.

1 | A proud street samurai and father, Tusked Gillette is mean with a shotgun but doesn't present too tough of an exterior. He's not half bad a guitarist either, it seems. |
3 | Apparently he lives in a haunted apartment with his daughter as a single father - must be damn good rent prices, because it's haunted from a triple homicide ending in suicide. |
6 | Whoever tried to clean up his past slights against the Spikes wasn't thorough enough - there's a recording of him brutalising one of their members. |

1 | He's an honest-to-god sam, surprisingly rare in the 2080s, with a proper code and all that. |
3 | He started, and continues, to run just for the sake of his little Jamie. |
5 | Carlos Blanco's the reason he got into the Haven, so getting good with Tusked might be useful for getting in with Carlos. |

Appearance
A giant trenchcoat, long flowing hair, and a shotgun on his back, Tusked Gillette fits the bill for a gillette pretty well. A big ork with a big gun and a grin on his face, it's so cliche in it's aesthetic that it wraps back around to being unique. Too many people try to go against the flow, that when someone's perfectly in line with it it seems off, especially in a career of individualists and non-conformists.

My Little Jamie! | He's a proud father, and so his little girl could play into runs, whether he wants her to or not. She also harbours a deep sadness that Tusked can't seem to see for now, and this may also apply. | |
Spike Smasher | While it was only once, he did murder a Spike in cold blood with his bare hands. He may have hidden it well, however, it wasn't completely wiped from the matrix, and so tech savvy keeb smashers might just catch a glimpse of someone beating the snot out of one of their boys. How they act is up to them. |
