Redmond Roadside Zoo recently imported a magical capybara (alongside 4 mundane capybara)
Mr Mirabel want capybara for infinite baldness cure
The Meet
Runners met with Mirabel at Matchsticks, ate breakfast, and were cleared on what was expected.
A large box roughly Chameleon (the runner) in size. Only cubed. A cube of chameleon. This was expected to be liberated from the Redmond Roadside Zoo and delivered to Mirabel's private airfield for proper relocation.
The runners agreed and negotiated 3k upfront. (No bonuses.)
The Plan
Call up Der Opa for a loaner on a van (Chameleon owes a chip)
Call up Bilge Rat Jones for an exfil on the Snohomish River (Heart of the Sea payed)
Gather intel from the zoo, and mostly one Bad Dog Boku
Set up a meet with BDB to try and yoink his 'chupacabra'
The Run
Well the meet happened
But then the party opted to jump boku, and violence occurred.
Things were going bad until boku dropped - at which point, morale shattered.
And then Jaximus the Adept Gorilla (not Gryla) showed up. ...And was promptly bodied by Heart of the Sea, narrowly avoiding taking a very painful monke punch
Aftermath
The party scarpered with the capybara in tow, getting the rodent in box to the J unharmed.
Bad Dog Boku will remember this.

Thank goodness for solid team mates, I got my ass whooped tonight. Om mani padme hum. I've decided that Mr. Mirabel is bad luck for me. Every time I work for him some horrible para critter wants to do bad things to me. Star made short work of the gorilla I was flabbergasted. I could've given her a big hug but...you know, the axe. Pinnacle got a twofer, commanding one to shoot his buddy. Timely too. 141 was shooting two-at-a-time as well. A real two-gun pistolera. I need a hot shower, I ache all over.

Well. Add 'fighting a gorilla' to unusual things I've done on this job. It was close, but I slipped an axe through 'is counterstrike and managed to lay him out unconscious. And we stole... a capybara. A capybara that some idiot thought was a chupacabra. With a little help from ol' Bilge-Rat, we got away clean with the... goods. And I got a snack, with unworried teammates too.
