Character Information

Summary

Corpse is a Marionette man who has been biosculpted to resemble a female game character. He escaped one of Bonraku’s doll houses with extensive personal sacrifice, and seeks to free as many of the unwilling dolls as possible.

Goals

- Kill the man who kidnapped him.

- Help others in his situation.

- Reconstitute the corpse of his lover as an ally spirit.

Background

Growing Up

Basil Wolf was born and raised in the Canadian UCAS to a middle class home of instruction AI and his parents; Xander and Rose. A lot of his childhood was a happy one, and one that found himself inside the Queer community as a simple effeminate boy with a hobby of making his puppets move about. He was rather good, despite his lack of innate talent at the art.

Though, his studies were focused at a higher goal, he received a scholarship from Horizon as a part of their burgeoning deckers program for gifted youth. The program being offered to those Horizon agents saw promise in the entertainment field.

Young Adult

Basil went on to college, where he would continue his studies. Staying mostly remote, he would be offered ware and server access so that he might study in LA alongside others of his program.

Though, his life would be subject to an abrupt turn of fate however. Attending a convention in the northern UCAS, there would have been quite the number of insidious side plots. Beneath the cosplayers and the buzz of the convention’s shops, a meeting of a number of Bonraku’s corpos played their hands. Leading to several of the convention’s cosplayers being targeted and bagged within the day. Until Basil, none of them would see the light again. And none of their faces would see the light of day again.

Basil was included in this group, taken and changed to fit their needs. Though, the extreme surgeries and loss of weight would take a firm and permanent toll on his body. His skills as a puppeteer becoming something of a staple for him as a doll. Drawing in many eccentric individuals.
