A catholic assassin, doing his work to rid the world of the unforgivable.

Background

Charles Airwright used to be a normal priest. He worked in a temple in the CAS, taking confession and preaching sermons. One day, however, someone specific came into his confession booth. They admitted to doing something terrible, and talked as to how they had made sure they would never face punishment for it. In that moment, Charles snapped. He went home that day and found his handgun. With what he had been told, it wasn’t difficult to find them.

He ensured that they faced punishment for what they did.

He had to go on the run after that, naturally. Charles was not yet a criminal mastermind, with plans in place to escape detection. However, in those early days, he found a surprising source of aid. The church had heard of what he did, and was willing to help him, in exchange for finding other sinners that they had deemed unsavable and killing them.

This arrangement went on for a while, before he got his most recent assignment. Someone had made a pact with an unholy spirit, and Churchman was to head to Seattle to eliminate him.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Selective Assassin (Sharpshooter, Strive for Perfection, Avenging Angel): Churchman is a careful, selective killer. He only kills those he believes deserve it, and always places his shots well.

You wouldn’t hurt a priest, would you? (Distinctive Style, Too Pretty to Hit): Churchman usually runs in modified version of his priest robes. While these tend to draw attention, they also make people hesitant to shoot him.
