Summary
A small, friendly mage who got swept up into the shadow community by her efforts in combating toxic spirits and mages and by helping people to settle other issues they have with less harmful spirits.

Background
Almyra does not remember her true parents. She grew up in the streets of Redmond, under the protection of a peculiar spirit of man that calls itself Foster. This spirit of man serves as a guardian and mentor for some abandoned children of the barons, but is picky in those it chooses. Though looking at the small woman's other exploits, it is hardly surprising that the Foster took her in. Spirits in general seem oddly interested in her, and she to them. She regards most all spirits as friends, but is knowledgable enough that they may of course be pressed into service against her and her allies and is prepared for such occasions. Otherwise, when summoning or binding, she is generous in her gifting of reagents, and sees both as an exchange of favors between friends, and will happily do most tasks that spirits ask her to do in exchange for binding. Though she never joined any particular gang, she has had a good deal of interaction with them, and tried her best to stay amicable to as many as she can, often calling upon spirits to help them get out of trouble with the law. Her cheerful demeanor and optimism helped her to find friends, be they spirit or metahuman in most places the Bat takes her, and those fighting alongside her have found it can be relieving to have someone with them who is so certain of their success.

Alms loves to wear the color green, and can most often be seen wearing an old, worn shaman tuxedo given to her by Foster. It's too damaged to actually function anymore, but she wears it all the same. She's a small thing, tiny really, only 4'8" and under 90 lbs. She's of some Middle Eastern descent, though she doesn't have the slightest clue who her parents were.
