He recently got in an accident and fragged his car, and while he was able to pay for himself to be put back together, he couldn't pay rent anymore nor for a new car.

Tanned skin with a goatee and large horns, visible scaling on his large, muscular body make it obvious that he is a troll, but he keeps himself cleaned and orderly. Cheery smile once you get to know him, scowl if you don't.
