Background
Raised by wageslaves, Saturday Tao always felt constrained growing up. After her transition, she was effectively disowned by her parents, so she moved in with her aunt in Seattle. There, she was able to thrive and got a Bachelor's in Communications from UW. She managed to land an internship at EVO, and everything seemed hopeful in her life. Then, as she was crossing the street, laughing at some stupid joke one of her coworkers had made, a white pickup smashed into her body, flinging it several dozen meters. As she lay there, her coworkers screaming and crying, the world darkening around her, she saw it. A common element of the world, everything twisting in a perfect spiral. At the center, a gateway to another place. A dark, twisting plane, but one that followed perfect patterns and possessing of horrible beauty. And from that place, an eye opened, and something saw her.
Saturday awoke in the hospital three weeks later. The internship she had fought tooth and nail for had been given to someone else, but she couldn't find a part of herself that cared. All she wanted to do now was to see that spiral again, to feel that horrible twist, and maybe, just maybe, that being that had seen her would take notice once more.
Significant Things for Narrative
High Society (Exceptional Att-CHA, Drug tolerant, Record on File:EVO): Saturday is a quick learner and easily picked up the subtle politics both in the workplace and out of it.
Spiral Witness (Mentor Spirit: The Spiral (Seducer), Mentor's Mask, Hedge Witch: Illusion): To see it once is enough. Like to many of its Witnesses, the being in The Spiral granted Saturday odd abilities and the desire to seek it out once more.
A Twisted Mind (PSC Public Broad Aspect: Drawing spirals, Flashbacks 1: White Pickup): Saturday emerged from the hospital a changed woman: drawing spirals everywhere and pacing in a spiral pattern when stressed. Additionally, seeing a white pickup sometimes causes her to be consumed by flashbacks of the accident and her vision after.
