Player Comfort
- I hold safety above everything else, including fun.
- I tend to focus on darker aspects of the sixth in some way in my runs, so the use of the X-Card and Streetlight System is highly encouraged. If I realize something is about to get heavy I will ask for a streetlight check, and any player is welcome to ask me to do one.
- Lines and Veils should always be anonymous and enforced. If I mess up and forget one, call me in even if you didn't put it there yourself.
Choosing Runners
I don't mind multiple runners being submitted per player, just make sure all the characters you submit would actually like to go on the run. If during the meet you feel your character would not go on the run for any reason, that's OK. If you feel another character you have should take their place we can discuss that, possibly in private, before continuing.
If you wish for a character to derail the run, please let that be known in the submission. This will help me decide who to bring depending on the mission prepped.
I will try to select a balanced team for the prep I have, so sometimes characters with low dice pools but a crucial role to the mission will be paired with high dice pool characters to act as support and guidance.
I don't mind bringing characters that have a comedic aspect to them so long as they can still fit in a serious situation, as I tend to lean black trenchoat.
Pacing
Some missions will be slow, with dead-ends and winding passages. Some will be faced paced and action-packed. If I can tell beforehand I will make it clear on the post. Sometimes I can't tell ahead of time and the session may go either direction, but I can curb it to the group's desire.
Player Choice
Player autonomy is greatly important to me, and I'll usually plan around multiple solutions to a problem. I highly support getting creative.
Seriousness Level
I tend to lean on the serious side, but humour is totally allowed. Read the room and respect the moment.
Failure
Mediums and below are often soft on failure likely leading to either a reduction or absence of monetary and/or, more rarely, karma-based reward. Higher threat runs could lead to loss of gear, limb, or even life.
