Summary

The Finnigan Family's Llewyn Val has been looking to oust the more conservative parts of the organization. This is the beginning of her silent war against her persecutors. The runners helped the first nail in the coffin.

Background

Llewyn Val is a subsect of the Finnigan Family. In order to strengthen her sub faction they decided to make a deal with the Kazimierz crime syndicate from Tir na nOg. She hired the runner team to nab a box from Pramanix in Vancouver, only to find a bit of a surprise.

The Meet

The team meet at Llewyn's garage, but Heron and Variance make a bit of an entrance. They are all able to make it there and negotiate with Llewyn a way to get up north by train.

The Plan

The team decide to take a train up north into the SSC's Vancouver. They will then meet the drop off to nab the goods and return back to Seattle.

The Run

The team head to Tacoma to catch a train. During boarding things seem to go... slightly off. After the train loses the watcher spirits from Seattle and before new ones join, the team is assaulted by Yakuza hitmen. The runner team is able to find out information about someone within the Finnigans buying a Yakuza hit on the team, and that Llewyn was being targeted by another Finnigan and the Yakuza.

Lonestar Security is able to board the train and apprehend the suspects, and some smooth talking is able to let the runners free, along with some damning proof. They are able to get to the SSC without further issue, however they decide to crash at a hotel before they meet the drop off.

When meeting the drop, they run into Pumpkin head, a high ranking Kazimierz member, and they drop off a 'box' and they beg that they not open it, for the runners sake. While waiting for Pramanix to deliver a better vehicle for their escape, the 'box' starts to giggle and talk. The runners decide that the box is safe and do their best to not open it, and are able to do so with ease.

later, on the train, the runners hear a knock within the box, the thing inside asking to be let out. Calling Llewyn, they're exasperated that the box does not contain guns and instead contains Whislash, Pumpkin Head's Sister. They decide its best to let her out for a bit, then get her back in for shipment.

Whislash is safely brought to a safehouse and the runners are paid for their work.

Aftermath

The Yakuza hitmen are disposed, Whislash is saved, and Llewyn is invigorated to work with Pramanix, Whislash, and Pumpkin head to combat the conservative sub faction. Whislash gets her very own UwU Princess™ Cake.
