Background

Kassandra was born in the slums around Athens to parents who couldn't care less about her. The only one she cared about was her brother, Romulus. Early on he looked after her, and later they looked after each other. Both were born warriors. Both lived in a world of violence. Survival was the only thing that mattered for so long, it became second nature. They trusted no one but each other.

As they became older they started fighting in the arenas. Kassandra was a champion, but Romulus was without equal. He was the embodiment of what it means to be a warrior.

Soon they attracted the attention of The Pantheon. The group sought out the siblings thinking they would be a perfect fit, and so it was. They became loyal members, and believed in the goals of the organization.

But it was not meant to last. Tragedy struck when her brother was killed in a rigged fight. The promoters thought to get the better of him and make some easy cash. Fortunately they didn't live long enough to spend it. They didn't count on his friends in The Pantheon who soon extracted revenge.

With no more ties to Greece she had little reason to stay. She moved to Seattle, following stories of Ares. That is, Ares in The Pantheon. He was killed years ago and his seat was never filled. A lofty goal, but one that would elevate her greatly. And so she became a member of Seattle's Shadowrunners, honing her skills to one day take the seat of Ares.

But she still misses her brother...
