Summary

Bunch of dudes went missing from the morgue. Group was hired to deal with it, then rehired to find the mole.

Background

Bodies had been going missing from the run:

- Todd L. Willoughby

- Ada Shelia

- Kenyon E. Dillan

- ___ Gregory

The Meet

Most of the talking was done inside of a bar in downtown. The Johnson agreed to 6k originally, 10k if infected were involved, and 12k if cyber zombies were involved.

The Plan

Scout out the morgue for info, and follow them home. From there, kick their ass.

The Run

Geo gets through the ice on the host with some minor effort. Geo goes through patient records looking for deleted files. Once again, finds the files with high efficiency. There are holes in the records, no trace of code though. The decker had gotten to the morgue camera though. Geo hops out of the host with a bit of fading damage, but not much else.

Quinn decides to go in on her new micro-drone. Though, after learning that she had no observational skills, she spends most of the time batting around inside the room without much merit. After Quinn hands off a prep to obsidian, she summons a task spirit for some forgery before she disguises as Sonia and walks through the checkpoint and makes her way to the basement. This is where they discover that there was an issue in the morgue. One of the body cabinets were marked as empty where a body was located. Putting 2 and 2 together, the group hatches a plan.

They shove a spider drone down the body's throat, and wait for it to move on GPS. They head to a stuffer shack and wait for it to move. After it gets picked up everyone heads to follow the hearse. Stopped by some cops in an uneventful event, but they make it to the location nonetheless. After confirming that these people were, indeed the people we're looking for; they hastily make work of them.

After a call to the Johnson and some negotiation, they check the building and get the middle man out there with some impersonating of the leader. The elf with the scorpion tattoo gets splattered against the concrete in record time, and the remaining guards get flattened by a battering ram. After getting some more info off the man's commlink, the group gets a name of the spider that had been working with the body snatchers.

They meet with the Johnson, get paid, and everyone went home happy.

Aftermath

Johnson pays out, bodies stop disappearing, runners' are happy, and the Johnson was scarred for life by the things they saw.
