The team arrived at the rear of the warehouse with minimal issues due to spirit concealment and fair stealth rolls.  They found the rear door of the warehouse had two large steel dumpsters welded into place against the doors and the drainage channel/sewer ducting built into the nearby sidewalk, relatively effectively sealing it. Pasiphae decided to attempt and rip the dumpster off the door itself but the welds held to begin with.  After a few attempts a rotodrone circled the building and Trauma quickly disabled it.  Unfortunately the target was now aware of the runners and escalated his attack, blowing a hole into the roof of the warehouse and beginning to gas the folks inside.

The team busted into action, slamming drugs and sprinting around the building while Pasiphae took a hit of Kami and ripped a hole directly through the wall into the warehouse itself, promptly starting to evacuate nauseated and unconscious gangers that had been blasted with a combo of cheap but effective gasses.

Trencher got what he paid for, and escape from his warehouse and an ID on the attacker in the form of a picture.  Killing him would have been ideal but the client did not see the exit and wasn't going to argue with paying the team of runners who could probably take him out. The rest of the mutated psycho trog brigade had already fled, so this left everyone with a feeling of general unease and moral ambiguity following this chance meeting with a potential new threat in the Redmond Barrens.

Summary

The gang gets offered a fast moving job in one of the worst parts of town, bailing out the Crimson Stilettos "recruitment center" from a hail of gunfire and low grade drone warfare.

Background

The Stilettos live in a constant state of war and mayhem and it's easy to make enemies. Someone brought some serious, well planned, low budget heat to the table and the team got called in to save a notorious gang.

The Meet

The crew dialed into a group call with "Trencher" a Rusted Stiletto's LT who runs a recruitment warehouse south of the 202 just on the glow city border. He was desperate to get his crew out alive and put out an all points bulletin to every contact he had to get some bodies. Thankfully for him, some runners did answer and agreed to take on the job with minimal negotiation.

The Plan

The team rallied in the barrens about 25 minutes from the target in a low rad zone and circled wide to check out the building the gangers were holed up in once they got prepped and armed up.

The Run

It lead to a situation where the team was sprinting as the opponent was escalating.

Trauma launched a grenade into the sniper's nearby perch, leading to a Picasso of a dwarf running for his life and exposing his location to the team. Things got a bit weird here, as the clients had largely bugged out or been knocked out. The team and target went into a standoff and weirdly polite negotiation, allowing the Changeling Dwarf to bug out once most of the rusted stilleto's had fled and Ronin got a picture of his face.

Aftermath

Trencher got what he paid for, and escape from his warehouse and an ID on the attacker in the form of a picture. Killing him would have been ideal but the client did not see the exit and wasn't going to argue with paying the team of runners who could probably take him out. The rest of the mutated psycho trog brigade had already fled, so this left everyone with a feeling of general unease and moral ambiguity following this chance meeting with a potential new threat in the Redmond Barrens.

Well, yet another gig done. This is how it should be, helping those who need it. That's what I did today. I didn't do anything else.
