Background

Takatsuki Sen, originally created in a NeoNET lab as a prototype test human, began her career as a programmer for the megacorporation. All during her work meetings and trainings, she would always draw and doodle. She started an online webcomic in the style of her favorite Manga, [Fire!kick], and gained moderate success. When NeoNET collapsed, she moved to Japan to pursue her passion for manga, quickly rising to international fame with her groundbreaking work [Black Hole Girl]. Her career thrived until a devastating earthquake left her with severe injuries, including the loss of her left arm and right leg.

Her friend and publicist, Kurukuru, joined her on the move to Seattle, where they both sought a fresh start. Kurukuru’s decision was driven by a desire to help Sen recover both physically and creatively, offering her support and a break from their high-pressure industry. Their bond has since deepened, moving from tense professionalism to a close friendship as they navigate this new chapter together.
