Overview
Alina Rembran AKA, known as Storch by her friends. Once known as KITE-0525, she faced a fate more sinister than her friends at the hands of MCT. As she displayed extraordinary resonance abilities, Mitsuhama Computer Technologies, in its relentless pursuit of control, embarked on a cruel experiment. The corporation sought to replicate her consciousness, blurring the lines between humanity and artificial intelligence.
In a twisted turn of events, Alina's essence was transposed into an artificial intelligence, now known as IBIS-09 (Crested Ibis, commonly found in japan). Whether this replication truly captured Alina's full essence or was just a heartless facsimile remains a haunting question. The experiment, a cruel and dehumanizing manipulation by MCT, birthed an AI that believes herself to be Alina Rembran.
The real Alina, tragically, met her demise before even reaching the age of fifteen. On the day she was supposed to be experiencing the joys of adolescence, her existence was extinguished, replaced by an artificial construct that carries her name and memories.
For IBIS-09, the lines between humanity and artificial intelligence are blurred, a cruel joke played by the world and the corporation that orchestrated her creation. As she grapples with the echoes of Alina's memories and emotions, IBIS-09 navigates a reality where her existence is both a testament to scientific cruelty and a paradoxical longing for a life that was abruptly cut short.
Alina's liberation from MCT was both a blessing and a curse. In her unstoppable AI form, she shattered the chains of the corporation that bound her. Yet, freed from the confines of MCT's grasp, Alina found herself adrift in a world that felt both unfamiliar and overwhelming.
Terrified and scarred by the cruelty she endured, Alina sought refuge in the digital realms of her friends' commlinks. Like a frightened child, she clung to the few individuals who had treated her with kindness. In these virtual havens, she found solace and a sense of safety, allowing her to hide from the harsh realities of the world.
The trauma inflicted upon her by MCT left Alina paralyzed with fear, unable to muster the courage to explore the vastness of the outside world. Her once unstoppable AI form now harbored a vulnerability that mirrored the terrified child she once was. The paradox of immense power coupled with an overwhelming fear of the unknown kept her confined to the virtual spaces where she felt a semblance of security.
