Summary
Storch gets lost in the field and dreams of being turned into a VCR cassette tape. She is found, and after a day out, she is returned to MCT under the veil of secrecy.
Background
Storch the AI, who hangs around with the likes of Milena Springthunder, GREY-1483 and Kolibri, was on return from a mission when they were lost on a... physical commlink. Looking for help, they called in some runners to save her and... go clothes shopping?
The Meet
The team is asked to meet at a Stuffer shack. Once inside they get pings to meet the J but can't find anywhere inside with them. Turns out, they're on a commlink in the garbage, and Blackhawk frees them.
Once the team realize exactly what they have, they decided to humor Storch and... go clothes shopping while they figure out exactly what to do with her.
The Plan
Head on down to the clothing store specified by Storch and figure out what to do with the MCT property is what the team comes up with.
The Run
The team makes their way to the clothing store and finds that Storch is very ecstatic to be there. She begs and begs for the team to buy her clothes, even giving sizes and favorite colors. Blackhawk refuses to turn on Storch's camera, but does take pictures for her. After each person buys Storch an item, they bag it to go. Once outside though, the team notices someone invisble by Red Ribbon's car. Shredder who was about to head out to skate came back and the team addressed the frazzled Girl.
Storch now starts to get worried, saying that Milena can skinlink and is violent, but she is pacified when the team offers to return Storch and the clothes. Milena even offers to pay to have MCT property returned in a way where none of them get on the MCT radar.
The team agreeing to not get on MCT radar, takes the payment from Milena and then hands over Storch. Milena, realizing Red Ribbon has a bit of Resonance in them, keeps that in the back of her head.
Aftermath
Storch and Milena return to MCT, with nobody realizing that Milena had forgotten the commlink in the trash. The team, richer for their efforts, is able to get away without MCT finding themselves on MCT's shitlist.
