Background

Created in 2065 by Spinrad Industries to be the ultimate skater, Jessica Spinrad was trained from birth towards that end. When she was 18 years old, she was finally able to compete in her first competition, and came dead last in her heat. After that failure, she was kicked to the curb with no SIN, no money, and no board. But, by the grace of whatever divinity governs hitting the sickest fucking lines, she stumbled her way into an abandoned skate park and there, lit by the flickering light of a fallen neon sign, was a board. For the next 2 years, she trained tirelessly, taking jobs for the Skraacha and whoever else would let her bring a bladed skateboard on a run without laughing at her to make ends meet, and now she's ready to take her revenge- one competition at a time.
