Overview

A scrapper turned "medical professional", Spex is a gutter punk who grew up mean and hard headed. Her anti-corporate sprawlkid values are rock solid.

She is from the Carbonado area in Seattle, though her found family digs through discarded and commandeered corporate shipments all throughout the Seattle barrens, salvaging and repairing what they can. Spex has a good relationship with the local gang, the Chulos, along with most of her neighborhood.

Most of the time, she acts disinterested and blunt, but Spex has a fiery passion which burns behind cold eyes.

Working Hours	Spex refuses to give up her mornings (community service) and her nights (night life). She puts in her 8 hours and then clicks her work comm off. Add +5 to the threshold of the contact availability test if trying to contact Spex outside of her normal hours (11am-7pm PST).
Overworked	Spex is very popular in the underserved Carbonado area. Chulos and Coyotes alike keep her clinic booked solid. Services may take longer. Every time the contact provides a service, roll 2D6. The normal amount of time that it would take to provide the service is multiplied by the resulting number.
Hardcore	In terms of Runner clientele, Spex is fairly selective. She despises the meek and corporate aligned, and is loathe to work with anyone so bland and spineless. The cost to upgrade this contact's loyalty is doubled unless the character has either visible cyberware or the Distinctive Style quality. Loyalty costs are also doubled for any character with a Corporate or Corporate Limited SIN.
Of the People	The Sprawl is tough, but ego and ambition make it tougher. Spex believes the community is the only thing strong enough to stand for any length of time. She will never go against the people of her neighborhood, this includes local gangs and syndicates (Chulos, smugglers, Go-gangs).
Art-I-Ficial	Spex dreams of a world made whole and strong with a titanium backbone. She gains +2 on tests relating to augmentations.
DayGlo World	Augs of all stripes are great, but the best is always the high budget. Shiny and new with a coat of loud finish, if it was up to her. Spex gains +2 on tests relating to augmentations of Alphaware grade or higher.
Obsessed with You	Spex loves her job. While her act is small time, she relishes a good challenge. She gains +2 on tests relating to items of availability 16 or higher.
Peace Meal	While other augs are great, the modularity and clockwork reliability of cyberware cannot be matched. Spex gets +2 on tests relating to cyberware.
Germfree Adolescents	Spex runs a community support system as a side gig. She takes old outmoded runner 'ware and repurposes it for broke Chulos and Carbonado residents in need. She gets a +2 on tests to upgrade cyberware.
Warrior in Woolworths	Chrome is best on the outside, sleek alloyed steel replacing weak cartilage joints. Spex gets +2 on tests relating to cyberlimbs (arms, legs, torso, skull, partials, cyberlimb mods).
