A broken woman, formerly the expendable asset to an EVO Biotechnician in Russia, who awakened forcibly upon an incident in which her body was destroyed and she was infected with Strain 1 HMHVV by one of the runners responsible for destroying her entire world. Not only did the loss of her augmentations back then ruin her body, her infection revealed just how dispassionate and uncaring her adoptive father had been and unleashed a seething hatred for the corporate world. This, on top of being a newly awakened woman, caught the interest of a mysterious figure named The Keeper. This mysterious figure helped give her the means to escape from her adoptive father and Russia into Seattle, but they helped give her the confidence to begin experimenting - obsessively - with this frightening magic born from her fears and trauma. Having escaped, she now works for The Keeper and smaller figures in Seattle, eager to grow her power and take any chance she can to strike back at the people she feels wronged her. It isn't like she has anything left to lose. All she can really care about is breaking down the world
In terms of what she does for the team, she's mostly combat oriented owing to her former work as a part of her father Toska's security forces (albeit not officially a citizen). Heavy weapons, spirits, and preps make up her normal repertoire of assistance when fighting, on top of having infected powers to boot.
She's seemingly laid back, though it may be more accurate to say she doesn't have anything left to care about. While she doesn't want to die, her devil-may-care attitude about life might be grating for those she works with, and her desire to be an increasing thorn in the side of the corporate world leads to some possibly problematic behaviors. But with magic, it's a different story. Being so rooted in the horrific incident that left her crippled and infected (and perhaps due to the Keeper's influence, more horrific still), she is exceptionally cautious about magic and its use. She refuses to do anything but bind her spirits, both out of a respect and desire to bring the most out of their power and the belief that they are, in fact, monsters who would kill her if she is not cautious and that she cannot use them lightly. She currently trusts her old techniques more than her magical capabilities, and yet she cannot help but feel allured by the power it brings her. It is a wonderful, terrible source of power that she must tread lightly in. It is how she escaped once, and it is how she plans on setting the corporate world ablaze.
