Ares Manager was kidnapped! It's up to a team of ragtag Runners to recover the manager and stolen trideo gear. Turns out, it was a plot! After some snooping, including bribery of a lawyer, the Team figure out the fact the store was robbed as a publicity stunt to sell more Cavalier Champions! It's easy enough to find the base, set it on fire (totally on accident), and save the day without getting any faces plastered on the news. | |||

A manager for Maximus Tactical Family Outlet: Guns and Toy Store (located at the corner of 140th ave and 34th Place!) contacts the Haven to recruit some runners to rescue the Bellevue Manager who was kidnapped when a store was robbed. Lucky a ragtag group of Runners show up to save the day. After talking to the Mr. Johnson the PCs go investigating, finding no magical residuals but many Cavalier Champions. Eventually a drone is found, footage is reviewed, and some Matrix Searching later it's discovered a local lawyer should have answers. | |||

After talking to the Mr. Johnson the PCs go investigating, finding no magical residuals but many Cavalier Champions. Eventually a drone is found, footage is reviewed, and some Matrix Searching later it's discovered a local lawyer should have answers. | |||
When the team arrives the lawyer, Mr. Badman, is indisposed. With some time to kill the PCs mill about and one even steals a pair of clean pants. After waiting a while the party manages to get lots of info from the lawyer, including the hiring party and the location of Champ Slinger. | |||
The party head over and investigate, gathering good info on the approximate location of their target and the threats. After storming the house, all of which was recorded by a film crew, the PCs manage to not burn the house down, not kill anyone, and rescue both the manager and the recording equipment. | |||
