Summary

Heavy-handed renegade superhuman that has decent people skills. Failing that, she can just crush your windpipe with a love tap.

Goals

• Survival first and foremost, after that comes staying under the radar and finding friends in high places.
• Look into her past against her better judgment.
• Make Humanis proud out there.
• Crush everyone that tries threatening human civilization at large. Insect spirits, shedim, ghouls, rampant AI, it doesn't matter what it is -- she intends to be their mortal enemy number one.

Background

Somewhere between radical terrorists and corporate greed lies a grey zone where ideals are corrupted by profit. Gerisa's one of many projects sponsored by Humanis to make a new breed of superhuman that can serve as the face of mankind's superiority. Propaganda, populism and flashy slogans are so much more effective when they're backed up by a deified figure of the human form. Vat-grown, Gerisa's upbringing is horribly skewed towards brainwashing her into a puppet for her handlers. She ran with various groups for an undetermined amount of time in her teens, already getting used to a certain rhythm. Somewhere along the line, however, something happened that required her to undergo a massive surgery. Her memories were wiped by and large, left with only a vague feeling of what she was before.

How does she know any of this?

Once she came to, she had a trid file waiting for her on the hospital bed, a recording of herself cryptically saying that the message was for her once she forgot everything. Three pieces of advice: Humanis isn't perfect, but she owes them everything. Digging into her past isn't smart, nothing good will come out of it; the amnesia was requested by her, not forced onto her. And finally, the third piece of advice -- there are a lot of dangers out there. She's the only one that can be expected to face them when the time comes. She'll have to work hard and work fast to get built into the perfect human, a vanguard to protect the world from everything that's inevitably coming to destroy it.

Unfortunately, most of her memories being gone did a number on her personality. Gerisa can't quite remember what made her such a bleeding heart. Instead, Humanis' rehabilitation turned her closer to their original image than before. Carolina seems content with letting this trend continue, as long as Gerisa accumulates good PR for the Policlub with her heroic deeds.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Racist w/ Common Sense - Gerisa is bigoted, but she's not going to be constantly undermining team cohesion with derogatory comments because that's stupid. Others might not like her, but she's not outright antagonizing. Instead, she directs her narrow views into actions that most can see as productive. Doesn't mean it earns her much sympathy in anyone's eyes, but she's running the shadows for bigger reasons than being approved by everyone.

Superhuman Psychosis - Essence barely hanging on, outdated and used ware filling her body and genes spliced so many times they're just holding together and no more, Gerisa's mind's dulled in terms of empathy towards other people. Even other humans hardly feel like something she should treat as equals.

Legendary - Humanis mooks often only know of her as some sort of black ops strike team veteran among the ranks of Humanis; nobody knows what she did exactly, only that she's a vague legend among them. The fact that Gerisa herself doesn't know any of it either is a bit of a sore spot for her.

Gerisa's tall and toned from head to toe with. Her skin has solid augmentations right beneath the surface, betraying her otherwise attractive and powerful appearance to be artificial.

Clothing

Gerisa's clothes often leave much exposed due to her superhuman psychosis manifesting in arrogance and mild god complex. She will risk injury just to intimidate the opposition with her durability and laugh off attacks, regardless of how unlikely it is to work.

Media Mentions

As if corporate would allow her existence to be known. At best, Seattle's got minor rumors about a human giant in the dark alleyways of Bellevue. Horizon, strangely enough, has reported a few times about a 'good samaritan' defending innocent civilians in Renton, most likely referring to Gerisa, but they've intentionally kept such rumors vague. Clearly someone in their media division is cheering for her.
