Summary

A one eyed blue oni of short height and slight build. Fond of oversized bomber jackets, punk rock and drugs, Bleue has an alluring personality that retains an edge of abrasiveness. For someone with a silver tongue, they can often be paranoid and anti-social, liking to keep at least several concealed weapons on them at all times. A frequenter of the daze.

Background

Uta Moineau was born in Japan, like most Oni are. Unfortunately for them and their mother, shortly after they were born, their mother was deemed unfit to work a job. With the loss of her job, Uta and their mother were forced onto the cold, unwelcoming streets of Neo-Tokyo. Surviving in such an environment can turn many metahumans cruel and Uta's mother was no exception, leaving the young Uta to fend for themself. They eventually found their way into an orphanage where they spent the rest of their youth. Life there was only a little better. Uta was frail and Oni's were not looked kindly upon. The other children were cruel, going so far as to take their eye with a hot poker and leave them with burns across their body.

From a young age, Uta was charismatic, a smooth talker. So charismatic that one day, after they had snuck away and connected to the Matrix, they met a nice old couple, the Moineau's and began to regularly contact them. A pair of french immigrants to Seattle, the Moineau's heard Uta's story of abandonment and mistreatment and it struck them to their core. They arranged an official adoption and had teenage Uta flown to Seattle.

On the streets of Seattle, Uta came into their own as a person. Despite the trauma and hostility, having a loving home does wonders. There they experienced the clubs and bars and drugs and all the good things of Seattle. They even learned there was a word for what they were, awakened. Their experiences caused them to develop a bit of a devil-may-cry attitude, especially towards the Corps and those in power. One day, during a slow night at the Downtown bar, Da-Xia Wu mentioned an offhand story of shadowrunners. The thought was alluring to Uta. They already owned several pistols, they didn't need to stock up on cyberware and their magic talents and silver tongue could be invaluable. The thought of the thrills and the money, better than any drug or rave, obsessed her and so Uta registered to the Haven.
