When he was sixteen, he ended up moving to Seattle, joining with the Povryejhda Vory there. He was a Sheristroika, or bag man, until he was twenty-two. Despite being an outgoing, friendly, and sociable person, Artur doesn't seem to have a life outside his work. He wears designer business clothing, and owns a nice condo in Tacoma, but doesn't seem to indulge in excesses like many Vory do. His fellows admire this diligence, loyalty, and work ethic. Others worry what he's really all about. Everyone's got a skeleton in the closet.
