With a pit in their stomachs and multiple places to check, the team decides to call in to chat with [[Kon Kon]] first. Once there, Kon illuminates the situation to show that Amelie had been on a streak of betraying the runners she hired. Given the nature of the job and the bad feels in the stomach, the runners confirmed a deal with Kon: instead of killing the gangers, instead turn on Amelie and turn her in to Kon for way more pay. Unsure, the runners argue, but ultimately a 2:1 decision puts the runners in favor of betraying Amelie.

Deciding to hit up the gangers first, the Runners confirm details about Amelie; she was being abusive to [[Dinky|Emile]]. Refusing to call Emile by his chosen name, referring to him as "her sister", it pushed Emile over the edge to wanting to flee Amelie. So, with that in mind, the Runners double down on snaking Amelie. With that in mind, they convince Emile to come help them as a distraction. Contacting Amelie, they convince her to meet at the docks to extract Emile, and set up an ambush. With the ambush in place at the docks of Tacoma, the gang try to spring a trap on the corproate guard but are shocked and surprised when the guard mostly outplay them with their keen senses. That being said, the physical nature of their trap still plays a big part in the outcome, but Hotdog is still knocked out before the end of combat.


After bullets, spells, and snipers whiz by, the team successfully capture Amelie and move to return her to Kon.

Once inside, it turns out that Amelie was being handed over to an Interpol team for the murder of their parents, breaking international law, corproate espionage, and a few other minor yet applicable crimes. Summary

Following up on a loose thread from Shelter, Disorder, you Drifter, the maligned Johnson finds a way to get her 'sister' back. Deciding to work directly with runners from the haven, they pay the price for their foolishness and end up fucking with the wrong networking fox. Firmly in the "find out" era, Amelie ends up in the limelight with her crimes catching up to her. The Pool Guys nab the uncool SK pal, sending her directly to jail. The Runner team, spurned by the J, and finding out the J had failed to pay the runners the night before as well, hapily participated in getting rid of the J.

Background

Shelter, Disorder, you Drifter was the first half of this run, and the ordeal that happened was the direct consequence of it. With Amelie finding her patience for the trixter nature of her 'sister' to be wearing thin, she hires runners to find the truth and get somewhere with what's going on.

The Meet

The runners, meeting with the J at her short term apartment, find that the J is quite well guarded. A small corporate team of security members are watching over and keeping Amelie Elericht safe. Once inside, past the bulky door and fingerprint scanner, they find Amelie waiting, offering for them to sit. She beckons their aid of pleas for the return of her dear sister, but the team quickly catches on that this person is obviously not looking for the return of her sister. All that Amelie wanted was for the death of the gangers who threatened her previously, nothing less, nothing more. As such, she hands over all the info she has on the gangers to the team, casually mentioning the involvement of Kon, as well.
