Summary
A shadow spirit's loose downtown. Some runners mopped it up.
Background
There have been a number of suicides in the area without good cause. Miss Johnson
The Meet
- Takes place in an office building - Miss Johnson is a detective woman with a cigar. - There has been suicides around the area, and nobody will do anything about it. Johnson thinks there is more to it. - A number of smaller things like the fact that there were no prexisting conditions or issues brought this to their attention. - After a bit of shmoozing, they manage to talk up their price.
The Plan
- Investigate the scene and track down the spirit
The Run
- Annette cashes in a chip with Iyaki to get her to assensse for her during the run.
- 4 background count aspected towards despair.
- Hotel room
- Rosalia talks her way into the room upstairs at the front desk.
- 1st cause of death was death by asphyxiation by hanging. The group investigates the suicide note.
- Assenssing the body, it's recent enough to maintain an astral signature.
- Mainly occurs inside hotel rooms
- Using some quick math skills, they attempt to iron out where this spirit could be to aid in Astral tracking.
- After doing some drugs in the back of the car, they all spill out an hour later expecting to see some action.
- They intimidate their way past the front desk in the next hotel, and run to where the spirit is.
- Breaking down the door, they all blitz and jump for the spirit as quick as possible. Within less than a few seconds, a claymore slash and a touch from Annette's elemental aura sends the shadow spirit into little specks of nothing.
- They calm the woman inside down, and after a stumble on the stairs from Annette getting what's coming to her.
- They resolve things at the front desk, and gather their rewards with the Johnson.
Aftermath
- Woman saved, and the spirit was found and swept up without further issue.
