Summary

The Golden Eyed Woman is on the hunt for one of her informants who seem to be picked up, and the duo of Rafflesia and Tsarina are hired to go save Mr. Warloff and bring him to safety.

Background

The Golden Eyed Woman, an agent of the Unseelie Court, is working in Seattle to cause trouble for her once lover and now enemy, the prince of 1000 enemies. The Golden Eyed Woman spends much of her time trying to find ways to mess with the company that the prince runs, and usually hires runners to mess with her.

The Meet

The runners meet with the J at the Copper Drake, and spend little time wasting over minced words. They agree to the gig, and are mostly unaware that their J, well, a fae.

The Plan

Do some work to find Mr. Warloff and make sure they don't get caught doing so. Much time is spent getting disguises in order to make sure neither of them are found out.

The Run

The duo start by going to Joseff's home, sneaking in to get info on the building. They start with basic info gathering on the street and find crows, even taking time to feed them. Soon, a big raven appears and seems to know the picture of Warloff. The duo sneak inside, but soon find the Raven up on the deck, prancing around an obstacle course set up by Warloff. After being given treats, the raven goes to a crude keyboard and spells out "FOOD GUY NOW". A search inside realizes that Warloff's brother works for S3I, and it seems like warloff is setting up to assassinate him, but it's not confirmed.

The team find a hidden SOS feature caked into Warloff's house, and are able to realize that the SOS is beaming to Warloff's own commlink. They get ready to head in, but know that its probably going to be an underground firefight and trap.

Once underground where the signal was pointing to, the team used tactics like sneaking and spells to get around some of the guards, but are eventually caught in combat that nearly takes out Tsarina. Later on, they find a soak tank and mage interrogating Warloff, but a sneak attack and big spell takes them out.

The duo take Warloff back, battered and bruised from the rough combat, and make their way to Sulla, who as promised either pays them with Cash or Connections to someone who can make them Foci.

Aftermath

Warloff is returned and then wisked away by the Golden Eyed Woman, and the duop make off with their pay.
