Between the subtle metaracism, the few bursts of Humanis hatred, the choking corporate scene of Saint Louis, and the terrors of the street, she found her calling on a bar stage with a guitar and angry lyrics. She eventually moved to Seattle's Touristville, began something of a gutterpunk streak, and built up a reputation quickly as a hardcore rockergirl.
