Brian grew up always relying on Griffon for most of everything and this has translated into him borrowing money on a regular basis from Griff. Going to work for his parents he learned that he had a knack for sales but hated the 40+ hr a week work that they did. Once he landed a job selling comms for Renraku store he was happy to use his people skills to rack up commissions in any way possible as fast as possible to be done with his shift and on to spending money and enjoying life.
