Summary
A Johnson of undisclosed associations hires the runner to perform a data extraction run in Seattle, with a possible side of personnel extraction as well.
Background
Renraku has recently found a old underground facility somewhere in Seattle and decided to turn it into a temporary black site. But in their rush they were sloppy, and a second party got wind of their operation. And they are hiring shadowrunners to find out what Renraku is after and bring a copy of the data to them.
The Meet
Bloodletter, Bunny Hop, Shugi and ThunderRaven respond to a job listing on the Shadowhaven BBS. Arriving at a stuck in the past americana styled cafe, and are greeted by Mr Johnson decked out as a character from the old flat-trid's series “Top Gun”. Over a nice lunch the Johnson lays out the framework of the run, data, and possibly personnel extraction, stressing that he would prefer no harm come to unaffiliated persons. An attempt is made to negotiate better pay, which marginally succeeds. After dropping off three leads he quickly makes his exit, leaving the runners to plan the mission. Shortly after Johnson leaves Bunny Hop decides to make her exit as well. While the rest continue to plan the legwork part of the mission. Some time after Bunny Hop provides an extended list of information about their leads, the result of an extensive search on the matrix.
The Plan
The plan is to first extract as much information as possible from a disgruntled Renraku employee, and then get the location from an independent landscaping contractor currently detained by Knight Errant. And possible intel on the site security from a weapons dealer that Renraku has made use of. After all of that? Break in. Try to be silent if possible. Grab data. Grab person. Vanish before the Renraku big boys show up.
The Run
Shugi and ThunderRaven tag team Karla the disgruntled Renraku employee, playing on her woes and sympathy (and some alcohol). They manage to get a general layout of the site and a personnel roster, including the security detail on site.
A scheduling conflict means that the runners opted for going to the arms dealer second, as Knight Errant generally do not have regular office hours past 22:00.
A short while later the crew are moving towards the location of the second lead located out in the Redmond Barrens, the arms dealer Jean-Louie. After a quick edit of the guards message history by Bunny Hop and a stare down from ThunderRaven, the doorman who was not too fond of the infected let them inside. Some fast and loose barters are made with the pixie. And the arms dealer reveals Renraku's full invoice, including (roughly) their shipping address. Bunny Hop quickly verifies the information, and the team gets moving to the black site.
As they are scouting out the area they spot a sniper, hiding out in a building next to the site. Bloodletter moves in and deftly takes care the Renraku overwatch, while Bunny Hop stops any alarms from going off. The site's lack of a host leaves their security open, and it does not take long for the team's matrix support to take control of their cameras. Then, a snag; as the team is getting into position to storm the guards outside, Bunny Hop tries to trip up the Renraku spider but fails. Alarms are sounded and bullets start flying. Flash bangs thrown, golems charging, men hewn like firewood by an axe wielding ghoul. All of it very violent. And also very quick. The spider is rendered impotent and locked in his room by a bricked deck and a forklift having rammed the door to his room, jamming it stuck. The last remaining Renraku employees having lost all of their drones, spirits and most of their co-workers surrender.
As the dust settles they make their way towards the second sub level and briefly encounter a door which might have been locked.. but Shugi's guardian spirit simply rips the old steel door from its hinges. A rushed and disorganized conversation later, a slightly hesitant technomancer leaves with the runner team. Data securely in hand.
Aftermath
A couple of minutes before Renraku HTR makes it to the scene the runners make a clean getaway under the cover of a torrential downpour. Johnson is happy. The runner are happy.. and tired. The extraction target is.. who knows? Off to a place that offers free dental and 2 weeks vacation a year. Allegedly.

Bunny Hop
If that's her choice, then that's her choice. At least Horizon's a little better than Renraku for people like us... Haah, speaking of, it's a little bittersweet winning that duel - kuyashii ne? Guess I still can't hang with other hackers without calling on the Deep Resonance. Honto ni sumimasen, Kyoushin-sama.
Shugi
"well a first time trying out a golem in combat outside of practice.. was quite interesting.. sadly had to deal with a nosebleed and a headache and everyone else moved faster than me which didn't help, overall it was fun.. oh i did also get to snuggle a corpo.. people say they are bad people but seemed quite normal to me"
ThunderRaven
“That was stressful. And I can't belive we did it in such a short time. From the description, I mean, this kind of mission. When I heard him explain it at the meet I expected that it would take longer. Even still, I feel I hesitated too much. Bloodletter sure seemed to think so at least, then again, she just might be the impatient type.”
Bloodletter
Did work. Got pay. Got meat. 10/10, best Johnson in town. Sometimes a run this smooth makes you feel like a trid star. I mean I did get shot at and all but nothing that wasn't outside of expectations. All in all, I had a wild ride and would love to do it again anytime.
