Summary

Geek a rigger and a goon on the enemy team. Don't kill the mage. Winning the brawl is optional.

Background

An urban brawl team has been backed by some gangers in the area, and some detectives caught wind. This game has been rigged heavily to favor the gangers, and some professional help was brought in due to this game's position in a tourney.

The face of the team is Fioria Wright, a firey red headed elf who is **NOT** supposed to die. They want the rigger, and one of the goons who has been slipped a vicious speedball to die during the match. The goal is to make it look natural, and to keep the game's pace moving without drawing too much attention to it. With the goon and rigger gone, there won't be anyone left in the game who is fixing matches.

The Meet

A limousine did the rounds picking up each of the party members before discussing the details. Lanky negotiated for their cut if they win the match, but overall they took the job as offered.

The Plan

Go in guns blazing. Outpace, out speed, and overall; out damage.

The Run

The runners quickly lined themselves up against the starting line, and as soon as the gun fired, Lanky red misted the first target. Ashford took to the air while the rest took to the pavement to the blitz would be at all possible. Though, due to the distance, the opposing teams got off some rather dangerous shots at Ashford. Though as the distances closed, Ashford levitated the bike in place. Causing some concussing force and the halt of it. The enemy mage summoned a spirit of fire, and tossed a force 10 fireball at Ashford in the opening as well. More shots are traded across the field, nailing him off guard. Rurosha pops 3 quick shots through the rigger, sending him into the next life quickly as he came in. Suppressing fire, the like, and the two teams clashed in the middle of the arena, where the vastly superior runners wiped the floor with better tactics and abilities. In the end, while there were some scares, it went off without a hitch.

Aftermath

Not much of note happened after the meet. The 2 ganger bodies went missing, and the payment was shilled out.

Player After Action Reports (AARs)

Ashford - "Urban Brawlers, mediocre specimens, though ones with a home field advantage. Mostly served as a reminder to not play fair, ironically enough."

Lanky - "I really need to pack lighter loud out for the "Make it look like an accident" set when it's civilians. I expected better armor. One thing is for sure, back to the Dojo for more sword training. That was probably life saving. Fire spirits, jesus."

Perfection - "Interesting, so this is "Urban Brawl". Very entertaining, I see why the metahumans cared about it. I will see if there are other opportunities to play."

Red Rover - "Damn... didn't get to show 'em my TASER FIST! At least that fireball probably looked good on cameras. I should PROBABLY learn spells that don't kill fraggers though, if these 'Johnsons' are gonna be asking me not to all the time. Ugh.
