Background

Following up with the ghoul family that Thistle decided to keep tabs on in https://shreloaded.net/wiki/Ungentrification_in_Redmond had some unexpected consequences due to events that happened in https://shreloaded.net/wiki/House_of_Horrors. Lt. Detective Rusty Chambers aka "Hellsing" (a joke he is regularly called at the precinct) has had this family staked out for weeks waiting for the first team of runners he had staked out on Ungentrification in Redmond, thinking them the lesser threat to shakedown, as a very changed and very late Thistle arrives in broad daylight just in time to spring his trap, before he takes drastic action.

The Meet

This was not a traditional meet by any means. Thistle called ALkali a few days after arriving home from her island imprisonment, to come assist checking in on a family that she had put u in Puyallup while they entered their ghoul adjustment period. They quickly realized that the child had taken to ghouldom well, possibly dangerously well, and had awoken as an aspected conjurer. The mother was struggling far harder and had been starving herself to feed the child, driving her further into ferality.

Things escalated when an astral Rusty Chambers arrived on the scene, his several week stakeout of this family paying off.
